Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) Optical Transceivers
 
OptixCom’s Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) optical transceivers are commonly used for the Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber channel applications. The design is compliant with standard IEEE 802.3Z and 1000BASE. The transceiver uses duplex SC connector for the optical interface and SCA-2 host connector for the electrical interface.

  • 1.0625 Gb/s and 1.25 Gb/s for up to 80 km
  • IEEE 802.3z, 1000BASE compliant
  • Single 3.3V power supply, duplex SC connector
  • Z-axis hot pluggable with SCA-2 host connector
  • AC coupling LVPECL differential I/O, TTL signal detect
  • RoHS, TUV, UL, Class 1 laser 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11
